B2B Solar: Organic Traffic Doubled in 30 Days

How a B2B solar manufacturer doubled organic traffic in one month through technical SEO, keyword restructuring, and content optimization.

The starting point

A B2B solar panel manufacturer had a technically solid product line but almost no organic visibility. Their website was indexed but ranked for almost nothing that mattered. The few keywords they did rank for were informational blog posts that brought visitors who were never going to buy a solar panel. Zero commercial intent traffic.

What we did

The first 30 days focused on three things:

Technical foundation. The site had crawl issues, slow mobile performance, and missing schema markup. We fixed the crawl errors in week one, cut load time from 3.8 seconds to 1.6 seconds, and added structured data across all product and category pages. Clean site, fast site, Google-friendly site.

Keyword restructuring. The existing content targeted broad terms like “solar panels” and “solar energy.” These are dominated by massive consumer publications. No B2B manufacturer can compete there. We shifted focus to commercial-intent terms: “bulk solar panel supplier,” “commercial solar panel manufacturer,” “wholesale solar panels for installers.” Terms their actual buyers search.

Content that matched intent. Product pages got rewritten to answer what procurement managers actually need: specifications, certifications, minimum order quantities, lead times. Not marketing fluff. The information a buyer needs to make a purchasing decision.

The result

Organic traffic doubled within 30 days. Not because of a single big win — because dozens of commercial-intent keywords moved from “nowhere” to “page one” simultaneously. The content we built continues to rank and compound. Every month since, traffic has grown because the foundation was right and the keywords targeted actual buyers.
